Metallica have performed an acoustic rendition of The Beatles 'In My Life' at a recent show. Watch their performance below.

Performing at the 10th annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia, the band put on a rather inventive unplugged set that included covers of Deep Purple's 'When a Blind Man Cries', Rare Earth's 'I Just Want To Celebrate', Ozzy Osbourne's 'Diary of a Madman' and 'In My Life' by Metallica.

The show was a reflection of the band's 1998 MTV Unplugged appearance and is proof to any doubters at there that they are an incredibly versatile band. Expect to see a similar vein at Glastonbury along with the usual metal madness from James Hetfield and co.
