This week sees the announcement that Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner has been named among the wealthiest musicians in the UK, joining the likes of mega-earners Calvin Harris and Adele on the annual rich list countdown of under 30s musicians.
Coming in at a very respectable 14th on the Sunday Times Rich List after earning an impressive £9million in the past 12 months, Turner has proven that he and his mates from Sheffield have not only dragged rock and roll out of 'the swamp', but made it very lucrative indeed - which is very nice to see.
