Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL kicked off with their UK tour with an epic 34-song show at Birmingham's LG Arena last night (Thursday 15 May, 2014). See the full setlist, photos and footage below. 

To begin the Hit And Run Tour Part II, Prince and new backing band 3RDEYEGIRL delighted fans with a set packed with hits, classics, fan favourites and new material from upcoming album, PlectrumElectrum. 

The star may not be playing Glastonbury, but we should feel lucky to have such a true icon and natural icon performing on stages throughout the country while we can. 

A Gigwise reviewer at the show stated:: "As he spun out guitar lick after guitar lick, it was easy to imagine the 55-year-old, as a child, sitting in front of a television in 1970 bewitched watching idol Jimi Hendrix break new ground with his axe. Yet Prince showed last night, he is so much more than that. Like a human melting pot for every ground-breaking American artist of the last 50 years, James Brown, Michael Jackson, George Clinton and Stevie Wonder are just a handful of acts, the diminutive American has magpied and moulded from, producing something extremely unique."
