Arcade Fire have unveiled the powerful clip to Reflektor track 'We Exist', starring Spider Man 2 actor Andrew Garfield tackling gender stereotypes.
The 'We Exist' clip sees Garfield wearing a wig, shorts and make-up as he heads into a bar, where he's abused and bullied by its customers. There's then a startling segment in which Garfield energetically dances, before he appears onstage during the band's set at Coachella.

It's clear the video has a message against prejudice and in support of LGBT rights, with 'We Exist' written about "a gay kid talking to his dad", according to frontman Win Butler. When the Canadian band performed the track at Coachella, they introduced it by saying: "The right to marry anyone you want is a human rights issue".
Meanwhile, Arcade Fire recently announced a one-off headline show at London's Hyde Park on July 3. The band will be supported by Jake Bugg, Wild Beasts and Future Islands. For more information and tickets, visit Gigwise Tickets.
