Lily Allen stars as Cupid in a new short film for an ice-cream company, days after revealing she turned down a role in fantasy drama Game Of Thrones.
The 'Hard Out Here' singer stars as Cupid in a new short film for Cornetto, in which she narrates a love story between a rising tennis star and a tennis umpire, and makes a brief on-screen cameo as the mythical love deity. The short film is called 40 Love, and has been made to sell ice-creams. Check it out below.
Earlier this week, Allen revealed that she had been offered a role as Yara Greyjoy in Game Of Thrones, playing opposite brother Alfie Allen - Theon Greyjoy in the TV series. She revealed that, for understandable reasons, she turned down the offer, mostly because it would have involved her brother putting his hands down her pants while riding a horse.
"They asked me if I'd be interested in playing Theon's sister," she said in an Ask Me Anything Q&A for Reddit. "I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit. Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks."
Due to the graphic nature of the show, Allen added that she found scenes starring her brother "very difficult to watch" - but she would be "open to" appearing in an episode, but rather with "a musical cameo like Sigur Rós".
