Josh Homme turns 41 today (17 May 2014). We have no idea what he has planned, but when you're the frontman of one of the world's biggest and best rock bands (and one half of rock music's most dynamic power couples), you can bet it is something pretty damn special.
During his career with QOTSA, Homme has proven himself time and time again as one of rock's greatest frontmen. An incredible songwriter and live performer, he has led the band from their early days to becoming a festival headliner across the globe, and the band this year top the bill at Reading & Leeds Festival (shared with Paramore).
But as Homme turns 41, perhaps he will be thinking about new pursuits and new ventures. We want many more years from Queens Of The Stone Age, but if Homme was thinking of a solo project, we'd welcome it with open arms and ears. And he's not the only one...
