Iconic alt-rockers Throwing Muses have announced details of an extensive UK tour for September 2014. Full dates and ticket details.
The seminal 4AD band released their first new material in a decade last year, with the 32-page book and album Purgatory/Paradise.
"I don't anybody likes pieces of plastic, which is what CDs are, and music really never asked to be reduced to that," said singer Kristin Hersh in an interview with Gigwise. "I like to offer someone a way to share music without sounding too evangelical."
She continued: "A book is beautiful, or at least it could be. We had plenty of inspiration to work with so I figured we should back it up with plenty of craft and not hurt anybody's feelings if we can help it."
