REM have made two lengthy rarities compilations available to buy on iTunes. The IRS years collection features 25 tracks, and the Warner Bros. collection features a whopping 131.

The IRS compilation, recorded between 1982 and 1987, includes a cover of Andy Williams' classic Moon River, as well as renditions of the Velvet Underground tracks 'Pale Blue Eyes' and 'There She Goes Again'. 

Meanwhile, the Warner Bros. set, recorded between 1988 and 2011, features a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'First We Take Manhattan' and Syd Barrett's 'Dark Globe', as well as various live performances from over the years. There's tracks recorded at Glastonbury, Saturday Night Live and shows in Europe and the US.

Additionally, they've made their Record Store Day Unplugged collection available to buy online digitally, as well as mastering all of their albums for iTunes. Phew. REM fans' bank accounts will be taking quite a battering.
