Bombay Bicycle Club's Jamie MacColl has admitted that he thinks Metallica were the wrong booking for this year's Glastonbury festival, adding that the line-up is "disappointing generally."
The band's guitarist discussed the line-up for Glastonbury with Digital Spy ahead of their performance at Radio 1's Big Weekend.

"I personally don't think [Metallica are] a very good booking" he said. "I think the line-up is a bit disappointing generally. My ideal line-up was Prince, Fleetwood Mac and Kanye West. I wanted a left-field Jay Z option again. I'm sure it will be great though."
Bombay Bicycle Club are, in fact, amongst that 'disappointing' line-up, performing on The Other Stage on the Sunday of the festival. "Yeah we've got a good slot" said MacColl on their appearance at Worthy Farm. "The Other Stage is probably the best stage at the festival."
Bombay Bicycle Club released their fourth album, So Long, See You Tomorrow, in February, when it reached No.1 in the UK.
