As they prepare to release their brand of soulful synth pop in the form of a second EP, Mano's Daughter have today premiered their brand new single 'What's A Girl Supposed To Do' on Gigwise. Listen to it below.
Consisting of Sarah Carter on vocals, Matthias Garrick on synths and Dan See on drums, this London based trio cite influences ranging from Bon Iver to Lorde to Moloko.
There's melancholy shades of trip hop in the opening frames of 'What's A Girl Supposed To Do', before it bursts into a brief explosion of pop power at the chorus. According to the band, "the song is about a girl trying to be the right person but stuck in the wrong relationship."
