Lana Del Rey has dismissed reports that she pocketed a cool $2.8million for her three-song performance at Kanye West's wedding to Kim Kardashian, revealing she appeared for free.
The star claims that West is a 'friend' and says that she would never charge a friend for such a performance. Opera singer Andrea Bocelli also performed at the event, but his salary and friendship with Kanye and Kim is unknown.
"I would never let a friend pay me to sing at a wedding," says Del Rey in a statement to TMZ, when questioned about her appearance at a pre-wedding party held at the Palace of Versailles, just outside of Paris. It was previous reported that she was paid close to £3m for her performance.
