There's good news and bad news for those at Barcelona's Primavera Sound festival this week: it's going to rain, but not all the time.
Festival-goers were left drenched and fleeing for cover as Sky Ferreira, Stromae, Temples and Holy Ghost opened the event on the ATP Stage yesterday, with a torrential downpour continuing well into the evening.
The first main day of the festival begins today (Thursday 29 May, 2014), Arcade Fire, Queens Of The Stone Age, Disclosure, St Vincent, Warpaint, Neutral Milk Hotel, Midlake, Metronomy, Moderat, Future Islands, Chvrches, Bo Ningen, Peter Hook and many more.
Fortunately, the BBC reports that the rain will relent for today at least. See the full weather forecast for Primavera Sound 2014 below.
Thursday 29 May: Cloudy with sunny intervals into the evening when clouds should disperse - with temperatures reaching a high of 19°C.
Friday 30 May: Cloudy throughout the morning before heavy rain dominates the afternoon ahead of a hopefully dry, but cloudy evening. Temperatures could reach a high of 19°C.
Saturday 31 May: Sunny intervals in the morning, before heavy rain in the afternoon and into the evening, stopping around 10pm - with temperatures reaching a high of 22°C.
And for those of you sticking around for the closing parties on Sunday...
Sunday 1 June: Sunny, all day long, once the main festival is over, with temperatures hitting a high of 22°C, which is typical.
