Artists voice their fury at CC14, as London Festival shuts its doors, blaming poor ticket sales

Just two weeks after the revamped Camden Crawl festival relaunched as CC14, the London event is reported to have gone into voluntary liquidation - with the artists and performers left unpaid. 

Organisers have since issued a statement. Read it here

The North London bash returned last month a more ecclectic line-up than usual, featuring the likes of Au Revoir Simone, Atari Teenage Riot, Of Montreal, D/R/U/G/S and even ABC for some reason. 

Now, Fact report that emails sent to organisers have been met with the automatic response that they're experiencing 'financial difficulty', adding: “it is with great regret that the Board has decided that there is no option but to place the Company into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation.”

Several artists then tweeted that they had not yet been paid by CC14. They aren't happy, with Johnny Foreigner referring to them as 'POINTY SHOED SCAMMY BASTARDS' and D/R/U/G/S threatening for them to enter a 'voluntary hospital:
