After one of the most-heated rivalries in rock n' roll history, doppelgangers Will Ferrell and Chad Smith have finally 'settled the score' after their string of hot-action drum battles.

It was the war of the lookalikes earlier this year when the RHCP sticksman and Anchorman comedians' rivalry came to head when they engaged in drum battle on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

But, it wasn't over there. Over the weekend, Smith joined Ferrell on stage to "settle the score once and for all” by making a surprise appearance at his annual charity event Cancer For College in Seattle. Performing under the name 'Pissed My Pants', Ferrell and Smith, along with Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, Dave Matthews Band’s Stefan Lessard and singer Brandi Carlile covered The Rolling Stones’ 'Honky Tonk Women'. Watch it below.

Meanwhile, news of a further drum-off involving Metallica's Lars Ulrich is still in the pipeline.

"I mean, we did talk about another drum-off," Ferrell told Spin. "With a third person that looks eerily similar to Chad and I. A third drummer out there … Lars gets pissed because he gets mistaken for both me and Chad Smith. He can settle that score now, too."

Now, Ulrich has accepted the challenge. Read the full statement Ulrich gave to SPIN below:

"It was a little lonely on the sidelines during the first drum-off, given the somewhat forced nature of the lookalike element between Chad Smith and Will Ferrell, when I’m TRULY the one carrying that dead-ringer gene around!"

"As for any further drum-offs, I’m sure that with a bit of practice, I could give Chad a run for his money. But Will? That’s a whole different story. He rules the “bad-ass drummer universe.” I mean, you’re talking about a guy who’s so next level, actually, so beyond next level, that he may just be completely unreachable! That said, I’m definitely up for the challenge…Bring it on!!!"
