A previously unheard Kurt Cobain mixtape has surfaced online. Listen to the audio below.

The 'Montage of Heck' was created by a 21-yeard-old Cobain, utilizing a four-track casette recorder and is a collage of sounds, speeches and songs. It features The Jackson Five’s 'ABC', 'Hot Pants' by James Brown, and William Shatner’s version of 'Wild Thing' alongside the sounds of flushing toilets and Jimi Hendrix talking.

Made to show his loves and influences prior to the recording of Bleach, it gives an interesting portrait of the artist before fame and fortune found him.
