As the festival rumour mill continues to roll around, it has now been reported that The Libertines are in talks to headline Glastonbury 2015.
The Up The Bracket indie heroes, who are also rumoured for Reading and Leeds, have gone on record as saying they won't return to playing live until they have new material ready.
However, a 'source' has told The Sun that Pete, Carl, Gary and John will be topping either The Pyramid or The Other Stage at Glasto next summer. There's a pretty monumental leap between the two, so we'd take this with a pinch (mountain) of salt.
''The Libertines have been on Glastonbury's wishlist for ages but shot straight to the top when they saw the appetite for them," said the 'source'. "They are still deciding if the band will headline the Pyramid or the Other Stage."
Other acts rumoured for the Worthy Farm bash include Foo Fighters - who've denied that they've been approachd, but said they'd love to play if Oasis and Prince do. Fleetwood Mac were also strongly rumoured, but also flat-out denied any involvement.
