Coldplay have that they're already working on a new album, called A Head Full Of Dreams and described as their 'final chapter'.
It may just be seven months since the band released sixth LP Ghost Stories, but frontman Chris Martin told BBC Radio One's Zane that they're currently in the studuio.
“We right in the middle of [recording]," said Martin. "It’s our seventh thing and the way we look at it it’s like the last Harry Potter book. That’s not to say there won’t be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. It was great to go from Ghost Stories right back into the studio. Now, we’re making things that sound different. It’s a very fun time to be in our band.”
He added: "I have to think of it as the final thing we’re doing, otherwise we wouldn’t put everything into it."
With no tour dates announced, the band are rumoured for various festivals next summer. Meanwhile, the band have just released live album and DVD, Ghost Stories Live 2014.
