Gerard Way has admitted he "misses the theatricality" of former project My Chemical Romance.
Now a solo artist after the band split up in 2013, Way spoke to NME about how things have changed in the last year, explaining: "I definitely miss the theatricality of it a little bit."
Way's debut record Hesitant Alien saw the singer take a step away from his musical roots and instead embrace his love of brit-pop, playing more intimate venues and earlier slots at festivals in the process.
Despite the fact he intentionally started small with this new project, Way did express his desire to take things his live show into larger territories in the future, detailing: "Now that I've gotten not doing something theatrical out of my system, I feel like it would be nice to get back into concepts again, maybe explore some more visual stuff."
