The GRAMMYs are over for yet another year, with St Vincent, Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Aphex Twin and Jack White among the winners at America's biggest music award ceremony.
Beck took home both Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album for the beautiful Morning Phase, while Sam Smith reigned victorious with Best New Artist, Song Of Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Taking place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles California last night (Sunday 8 February, 2015), the other big winners of the night included Gigwise favourite St Vincent taking home Best Alternative Music Album for her self-titled record, Kendrick Lamar winning Best Rap Performance for comeback track 'i' and Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 being crowned Best Rap Album.
Aphex Twin won Best Dance/Electronic Album (which is cool), while Pharrell's G I R L was named Best Urban Contemporary Album. You might also be surprised to hear that Tenacious D beat the likes of Slipknot, Anthrax and Motorhead to be named Best Metal Performance. Paramore also won Best Rock Song for 'Ain't It Fun'.
