Mary J Blige has announced two UK headline gigs in the run-up to her appearance at Wireless Festival this summer.
The singer is set to perform at Wireless on Saturday, 4 July alongside headliner Avicii, as well as Kendrick Lamar, Knife Party, Childish Gambino, and Indiana.
In the two days before that festival slot, she’ll play headline shows at Manchester’s O2 Apollo and Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena.

Blige has made no secret of her fondness for the UK - she released her 13th studio album, The London Sessions, last year. It was recorded in central London and featured collaborations with the likes of Disclosure, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sande and Sam Smith.
