Dave Abbruzzese, former drummer of grunge icons Pearl Jam, is wanted by Denton, Texas police - and there's a $1000 reward for anyone who can offer up information leading to his apprehension or arrest.
As Billboard reports, an arrest warrant was issued for Abbruzzese's arrest in September last year after he was hit with two drug charges; one for posession of a controlled substance for an amount under 28 grams, and the other for manufacture or delivery of a controlled the substance.
The former is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by maximum of a year in county jail as well as a $4000 fine. The latter, however, is a first degree felony which carries a sentence of anywhere between five and ninety-nine years in prison.
Abbruzzese drummed as a member of Pearl Jam for three years, from 1991-1994. He joined the band the day before their debut album Ten was released in 1991, and worked on the band's popular Vs and Vitalogy albums. Unfortunately he was kicked out of the band before Vitalogy was released, for unknown reasons.
Currently Abbruzzese has not been found, and is still wanted in Texas on two drug charges.
Pearl Jam's last UK shows were dates at the Leeds Arena and Milton Keynes Bowl in July 2014.
