It was hit by almost biblical weather, forcing all acts on the main stage on the Sunday to cancel, but Gigwise braved it and was there to capture Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem 2008 in all its glory

  • Shockingly bad. Saturday was great, amazing atmosphere and the Prodigy were exceptional but it totally fell apart on Sunday. Half the line-up should be half the price. I await a refund. I just find it hard to believe that anyone would organise a festival in England and not be prepared for rain! Everyone at the gig was expecting rain and carried on right through it so what was wrong with the organisers? The main stage got wet. I don’t see why that’s a problem unless it was made out of

  • ”Hit by biblical weather” !!! A bit dramatic, I think you’ll find it drizzled all day. Want rain? see Glastonbury festival but they don’t cancel the show!
