(17-19 May, 2012) This weekend saw some of the biggest up and coming stars of the music scene perform at this year's Liverpool Sound City festival.
Celebrating cutting-edge music talent and hotly tipped stars from the music world, this year's event played host to the likes of Jake Bugg, Michael Kiwanuka, The Jezabels and many more. See exclusive photos of these, and many more big names of the future in our gallery below.
The Liverpool event mixes live music with industry conferences, which feature guest speakers from the music indistry plus exhibitions and much more. Bands to have performed previous years while on their way to the top of their game - and the charts - include Mumford & Sons, Noah & The Whale, Florence + The Machine, Metronomy and Laura Marling - among many others.
