28 May, 2012: Outkast star Andre 3000 is currently shooting Jim Hendrix biopic 'All Is By My Side' in Dublin, Ireland, and has been snapped on set in full Hendrix gear. See the photos below.

The rapper is stepping into the platform shoes (and flared trousers) of the rock and roll legend - despite Jimi Hendrix's estate casting doubt on the validity of the movie, claiming they are not involved with the production. The estate has previously indicated that without their permission, there will be no Jimi Hendrix music in the movie - so as rock and roll biopics go, this one could end up being something of a quiet one...
