'Blunderbuss' star rocks Heineken Music Hall with his all girl band - see the pics
25 June, 2012: With all the fuss over the hip-hop and R&B stars performing at last weekend's Hackney Weekend in East London, a lot of the alternative stars were a little overlooked. Following his Saturday slot at the Radio One event, Jack White took the solo spotlight at his show last night at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall.
Joined by his all-female backing band, White performed tracks from his debut solo album 'Blunderbuss' such has 'Hypocritical Kiss', 'Sixteen Saltines' and 'Love Interruption' alongside White Stripes classics 'Hotel Yorba' and 'Seven Nation Army'. He even tossed The Raconteurs 'Steady As She Goes' into the encore.
Bathed in blue and looking like something out of a Tim Burton movie, check out photos of Jack White live last night at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall.
