Lightning delays France show by 45 minutes
30 June 2012: The Cure came onstage at the French festival Les Eurockeennes de Belfort 45 minutes later than planned after severe weather warnings led to fears that the site may have to be completely evacuated.
However, band member Roger O’Donnell tweeted 'Lightning is not going to stop us!' and the band took to the stage at 11.15 to play a two and a half hour set, including ‘Disintegration’ and ‘Pictures of You.’
Saving the best til last, The Cure waited for their encore to perform such hits as ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ and ‘Friday I’m In Love.’ Check out the photos here.
