Reznor has form in this field having previously worked on the music for classic game Quake.

We don't know if you heard but there's not a lot of money left in the music industry. However, there are millions in the gaming world - which perhaps explains why so many musicians are starting to migrate across to the world of pixels over plectrums.
Trent Reznor is old school in this world, having contributed music to Quake back in the day but he is returning to his old stomping ground later this year with the theme tune for Call Of Duty: Black Ops II.
Similarly, both Beck and Sir Paul McCartney have revealed plans to work with games developers on new music.
