19 July, 2012: Imagine if you went to a Morrissey gig and he DIDN'T do something controversial or politically charged. You'd be furious. You'd want your money back.
Last night in Istanbul, his Turkish fans got double the band for their buck when the king of controversy not only made his feeling clear (again) on the royal family, but also made a hard-to-miss statement about Syria President, Bashar al-Assad with t-shirts bearing the slogan 'Assad Is Sh*t'.
He also brought a Turkish flag on stage, displaying it to the audience before hurling it into the crowds.
