Nicki Minaj has hit out (and how) at those who accused her of demanding shorter grass at T In The Park festival when she performed at the Scotland event at the start of July 2012.
The Sun newspaper reported that the 'Starships' rapper threw a tantrum when she saw the length of the grass around her reserved area - but Minaj has strongly denied these claims in an interview with Australian newspaper, Sunday Herald Sun.
"I hope whoever made that lie up chokes to death. It's the most absurd thing I've heard printed about me in a very long time," she tells the newspaper.
"Who gives two f---s about someone's grass? I was wearing my wellies and it was all mud.
"I would never tell anyone to cut grass. I don't give two s---s about anyone's grass," she added angrily. "I went to the festival happy to have an outdoors-y type experience. Why would I go somewhere and ask somebody to cut grass?
"It's sad because I can't defend myself against these lies."
Minaj upset fellow performers at festival however, with Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls revealing their disgust at the rapper's behaviour backstage. Turner tweeted "Nicki Minaj has been being a total selfish shithead to all the hardworking crew backstage at T. Pathetic. F*** off," after a backstage encounter.
