The second sex scandal for singer in same week?
Following the apparent leak of a sex tape featuring the 'Call Me Maybe' star, Carly Rae Jepsen is facing further embarassment as police investigate the apparent theft of naked photos from her home computer.
A video appeared online earlier this week, which was said to show the singer naked and involved in a sex act, but the star strongly denied the accusations, saying: "Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me," on Twitter. See a photo from the video above.
Now, police are investigating the theft of photos from the young star's home computer after she was hacked. Canadian police confirmed an investigation was underway, saying it was: "in regards to a theft of electronic property belonging to Jepsen".
Reports from the US claim a suspect has already been identified, and could face a prison sentence for the computer theft.
In less sexual news, Carly Rae Jepsen this week premiered the video for her new Owl City duet, 'Good Time'.
