Azealia Banks has delayed the release of her 'Broke With Expensive Taste' album by a full six months.
Taking to Twitter last night (Aug 19), the '212' rapper told fans expecting to hear the album in September that they would have to wait until February 2013 for the album release.
This is the latest in a string of delays, cancellations and mis-starts for Azealia - tipped to be one of the biggest stars of 2012. Things even got as bad as Banks saying she no longer wanted to be a rapper in June.
Tweeting her followers about the release schedule change, Azealia said: "Broke With Expensive Taste will be out first quarter of 2013 on Feb 12. (2/12)." Adding: "I have ALOT of REALLY excitin ish happening in btwn! it will ALL make sense as these things start to unravel."
Last week saw Banks hit the headlines when a magazine cover showing her smoking a cigar wrapped in a condom was banned in seven countries around the world.
