Spice Girl Mel B was apparently such a hit with viewers - and producers - of the show, that she is already being lined up to replace Nicole Scherzinger on the 2013 series of the show.
'Scary Spice' is tipped to take over on the show in 2013, after her harsh comments to contestants found favour with viewers of the show. While fellow judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh dished out wooly compliments to the pop wannabes, Mel B gave a firm 'no' to nearly every act on the show.
Now, tabloid sources claim Mel B has already been promised a role on the 2013 show.
"Mel was our first choice. She was so quick and honest. You can’t let everyone down gently or the praise is meaningless," says a source to The Sun newspaper. “There’s a lot of money on the table for her next year.”
Giving Mel B a full time role on the show would leave Nicole Scherzinger out of a job after just one season. She was fired from X Factor USA after a single series and replaced Kelly Rowland on the judging panel of the 2012 series.
