26 August, 2012: It's all over - and what a way to close. This year's Leeds Festival came to an end last night with a moon-gazing performance from rock giants, Kasabian.
The Velociraptor! stars paid tribute to Neil Armstrong during their Leeds Festival headline slot on Sunday night, dedicating 'Let's Roll' to the astronaut who died yesterday, aged 82.
"Everyone look at the moon behind you," said Serge Pizzorno as he introduced the track.
"Everyone this is for Neil Armstrong," added Tom Meighan as they began the performance, which included covers of The Korgis 'Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime' and 'Praise You' by Fatboy Slim. They were joined by a troupe of fans dressed as skeletons for a performance of their hit, 'Fire'.
The band's full setlist is as follows:
'Days Are Forgotten'
'Shoot the Runner'
'Velociraptor!'
'Underdog'
'Where Did All the Love Go?'
'Swarfiga'
'Let's Roll Just Like We Used To'
'ID'
'Take Aim'
'Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime'
'Club Foot'
'Re-Wired'
'Empire'
'Praise You'
'LSF (Lost Souls Forever)'
'Switchblade Smiles'
'Vlad the Impaler'
'Fire'
