Organisers of the Creamfields Festival have called for customers to be patient after they were forced to cancel the second day of the event this weekend following adverse weather conditions.
As reported on Gigwise, doors were closed to the second day of the festival (Aug 26) after torrential rain over night. Stars such as Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris were due to perform.

A new statement on the official Creamfields website calls for those with tickets to be patient while they asses the fall out from the weekend.
"After a very difficult weekend we ask you all to please be patient a little longer, a refund announcement will be available shortly along with a detailed explanation on why Creamfields was abandoned," reads the statement.
"We know you have lots of questions and we will do our utmost to answer all your questions in time, however, our priority today is to see off the last remaining customers safely. "
"Of course we know you are all disappointed, but please be assured that once it became clear that the condition of the event site presented a risk to those attending, your safety was our only concern. Everything that could be done to keep the festival running was, but eventually the conditions on site made it impossible."
Heavy rain throughout the night was being blamed for the cancellation with those already onsite told to go home by Cheshire police. Extra public transport was laid on for those affected.
