Jay-Z is rumoured to be joining Coldplay at the Paralympic closing ceremony this Sunday inside London's Olympic Stadium (Sept 9).
As reported, Rihanna is also rumoured to be joining the 'Mylo Xyloto' band to perform their 'Princess Of China' duet and the band are looking to add further star power to their set with the addition of Jay-Z.
The Mirror reports that the friendship between Jay-Z and Chris Martin was key to the recruitment of the '99 Problems' rapper and that fans can expect a collaboration between the two as part of Coldplay's set.
'Jay-Z and Chris Martin are close friends so he helped to get the rapper on board,' an insider told the paper.
Adding: 'They are putting together a spectacular set list - one likely to include a duet. It's going to be one hell of a show and fans of both artists will be trying to get tickets.
'This will be a concert like no other and a fantastic end to what has been the most successful Paralympics ever.'
The Paralympics opened with a performance by Orbital which included both Professor Stephen Hawking and a rendition of Ian Dury's 'Spasticus Autisticus'.
