- Madonna vs. horse: Madge suffered "minor injuries" and bruises after falling from a startled horse in New York in 2009. It wasn''t her first accident on a horse, either, having broken her collarbone, her hand and cracked three ribs in a similar accident in 2005. She quickly got back in the saddle for an appearance on David Letterman''s talk show, though (see photo).

Touring the world with it's many weird and wonderful species of animals and insects is a priveledge afforded to the rich and musically successful, but it's not all fun and games - there are a few drawbacks.
