Photos of the seating arrangements at this year's MTV VMAs have been revealed, show Rihanna taking a front row seat next to Katy Perry. Also in the front row? Rihanna's ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown... Check out photos below.

Leaked photos from the preparations for this year's music extravaganza shows two reserved seats in the front row of the show - blocked out for Rihanna and Katy Perry. Sat directly behind Rihanna will be Miley Cyrus and behind her, Channel Orange star Frank Ocean.

Chris Brown also has a place in the front row of Thursday's show, a stone's throw from Rihanna - who he infamously beat up while the pair were en route to the Grammys in 2009.

Further photos reveal that 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' star Taylor Swift has landed herself a front row spot, and will be flanked from behind by rappers Tyga (who guests on Tulisa's new single 'Live It Up') and Wiz Khalifa - who scored a No.1 single earlier this year with his Maroon 5 collaboration, 'Payphone'.

One Direction have a block marked out for the boyband, while Drake will also be sat in the front row. Immediately behind him will be new US X Factor host Demi Lovato, two seats down from 'cock-pop' star Ke$ha, who is currently readying her second album - which will feature colloaborations with Iggy Pop and The Flaming Lips.

Last week Michael Jackson's daughter Paris claimed that MTV were rigging the awards in favour of One Direction - pledging her voting allegiance to Justin Bieber.
