Biffy Clyro have refused Robbie WIlliams' advances twice, revealing the Take That star was desperate to work with them on his new album.
Robbie Williams had reportedly asked Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro to feature on his new album, which is his return to a solo career after a successful stint with his Take That bandmates.
Singer Simon Neil told NME, "I got asked to play a solo on his record, but I turned it down. I wish all the best for Robbie, but I don't think he needs my help. Bizarrely, I think Slash is going to play the solo now, which makes the whole thing cooler."
Biffy Clyro previously dabbled with pop when X Factor winner Matt Cardle covered their hit 'Many Of Horror' after winning the reality show in 2010.
The 'Millennium' singer allegedly also asked the band to join him for a kick about while they were recording over in LA where Robbie lives, but they couldn't because they were 'too busy'.
