Lady Gaga has hit back at critics of her bodyshape in the best way possible - by sharing photos stood in her underwear, proving she's hardly as obese as tabloid reports have recently claimed. The star shared the intimate photos with fans on her personal social network, Little Monsters.

The star has come under fire recently for apparent weight gain while on her Born This Way ball tour. However, newly shared photos today show that the star is anything but overweight as she poses in a bikini for fans, sharing them on Twitter with the comment 'Body Revolution 2013'. She has also retweeted photos of fans recovering from eating disorders and other body issues as she takes a stance against body facists.

The star previously shared a Marilyn Monroe quote with fans online after unflattering photos were seen online, before later stepping out in Paris wearing an enormous fat suit.
