Rocker performs tracks from nominated album
24 September, 2012: Fresh from his nomination for this year's Mercury Music Prize, Richard Hawley last night took to the stage at Leeds O2 Academy to prove exactly why his 'Standing At The Sky's Edge' is one of the albums of the year.
The UK star performed tracks from the Mercury nominated prize album alongside classic tracks from earlier in his career. He is currently joint favourite to take the prize at this year's awards ceremony alongside London rapper, Plan B. He is currently 4-1 to take the prize ahead of Jessie Ware, Django Django, Alt-J and Michael Kiwanuka.
