Chris Brown has officially announced that he and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran have split, because of his friendship with old flame Rihanna.
Today Brown stated, "I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna."
He then added, "I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."
Earlier this week X Factor judge Nicole denied that she and Brown had kissed at a night club, despite photos apparently showing the pair together.
Chris Brown also made headlines recently when he failed a drugs test as part if his ongoing court case, Rihanna publically sent him a good luck message.
