Frightened Rabbit have announced a UK tour to take place in February 2013. Full details and ticket info below.
The band have just completed a more low-key tour last month, and the new tour dates leave them set to play a wider range of venues. This is also following up the brand new EP 'State Hospital' released earlier this year.
The new tour kicks off at Norwich on February 8, and is is likely to be in support of the as yet untitled follow up album to 2010's 'The Winter of Mixed Drinks'. It is suspected that the new record will be out early 2013.
Work on the new album has already been taking place for over a year, as Scott Hutchinson said that the album was "essentially written" in December 2011. Hutchinson also said that his bandmates contributed to the song-writing process this time, which has not happened before, adding that he thinks it has "done nothing but benefit the new songs."
The full tour dates are:
8th February - Norwich, Waterfront
9th February - Birmingham, HMV Institute
11th February - Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms
12th February - Brighton, Concorde 2
13th February - London, HMV Forums
