Tickets for Gary Barlow'srecently announced solo tour sold out yesterday (19 October 2012) within minutes of going on sale - leaving many fans disappointed at being unable to purchase tickets to see the Take That star's solo shows.
In fact, the demand was so high that the Take That member added an extra date to the tour at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Barlow took to Twitter to announce the new date and thank fans for the support, writing: "I've heard you're all buying lots of tickets ! I'm adding one extra date now ! Hammersmith Apollo 27th December.
"Thank you so much for showing your support for my live dates ! I promise you a night to remember !"
He added: "Sorry to everyone who didn't get tickets ! We didn't know how strong the demand would be."
The concerts are to help raise funds for charity, specifically the youth charity The Prince's Trust and The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.
And there is still a chance for those who didn't manage to get tickets - the last few are to be put up for auction later today. However, the auction will be running until 2 November, so there's no telling how high prices could go.
Although the dates are all mid-week so they won't conflict with X Factor live shows, this could be another sign that Barlow is ready to take his leave from the reality show.
Barlow has made no secret of his disillusionment with the show's decisions this year. Not only did he walk off after 'joke act' Rylan was saved over Barlow's act Carolynne Pool, but he's reportedly still feuding with Louis Walsh.
Looks like there could be some truth to the rumours that Barlow is ready to quit to focus onTake That, after all.
