10 November, 2012: Lucy Spraggan fans everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief. The former busker is alive, well and turning on Christmas lights in regional UK cities. Hurrah.
Spraggan made her first public appearance last night since she announced she was quitting the X Factor last weekend. The singer/songwriter performed at the Capital FM Christmas lights turn-on at Meadowhall, Sheffield. The former busker took to the stage alongside The Wanted and Misha B - so is certainly keeping higher profile company since her stint on reality TV.
Spraggan announced her departure from the reality TV show on Saturday 3 November, disappointing fans of the quirky singer. She later thanked fans for their support through her X Factor journey, which was thwarted by flu.
There are rumours that Spraggan will return to the X Factor stage for a performance on the final on this year's show - so maybe her performance last night was just a little warm up for that.
