Former Radio One breakfast show host Chris Moyles and his one-time sidekick 'Comedy Dave' are reportedly at war due to Moyles' budding friendship with Dave's ex-wife.
The successful radio duo were friends on and off the air during their time on Radio One, but Moyles has recently sparked up a friendship with Dave Vitty's ex, Jayne Sharp. Vitty split from Sharp in 2011, but is said to be hurt over Moyles keeping contact with her.
"They were so tight knit but that changed almost overnight after Dave got wind of the friendship," said a source to The Daily Mirror. "Things deteriorated fast and it was never the same again.
"To say there is no love lost is an understatement. Dave feels totally betrayed."
Vitty was reportedly invited to join Moyles on his UK theatre tour but refused due to the increasing rift between the broadcasting pair.
No longer friends? Moyles and Vitty are said to be 'at war'
Chris Moyles hasn't been great at making friends recently - hitting out at a Mirror journalist after a scathing review of his Difficult Second Album record was published in the newspaper.
In between the constant plugs of his album, Moyles wrote, "Andy Dawson in The Mirror. Hey Andy, I really bug you don't I. You HATE my success so much. Really hate it. Thanks. Makes me want more.."
Dawson proceeded to retweet the insults he got from Moyles' supporters, and replied to Moyles with a series of tongue in cheek tweets claiming it was 'just a bit of fun'.
