One Direction have announced that they will be releasing a new 3D documentary movie next year - and filmmaker Morgan Spurlock will be behind it.
The film maker is more known for his hard-hitting exposes, such as 2004 'Super Size Me' which lambasted unhealthy McDonald's meals, and has gained a reputation for his cynical social commentary - making him an odd choice for a One Direction film.
The as yet untitled project will be similar to previous music movies, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and Katy Perry: Part of Me, both of which made millions at the box office. It's currently due to be released in August 2013.
The boyband previously starred in a documentary called One Direction: A Year in the Making, but the ITV2 special was for TV only.
Spurlock said in a statement, "This is an incredible opportunity and an amazing moment in time for the band.
"To capture this journey and share it with audiences around the world will be an epic undertaking that I am proud to be a part of."

It seems that Johnny Depp could be the newest member of One Direction - considerably adding to the band's 'hearthrob' factor. Johnny Depp heard that the band were in LA and managed to get a private concert from them, for his daughter, Lily Rose.
And not just that, but he reportedly joined them for a bit of a jam session - in front of his 13-year-old daughter and her friends.
A source told The Sun, "Johnny found out 1D were in town and, after making a few calls, they came round to his studio. He brought out his piano and guitars for the boys to test and they had a little jam session.
"Lily Rose just watched with her blushing mates while her dad temporarily joined the world's biggest boyband."
