Jon Bon Jovi's daugher Stephanie R Bongiovi has been arrested at her university after a female student apparently took a heroin overdose.
Stephanie is a student at Hamilton College, Kirkland, and Kirkland police officers responded to a call at the Dunham Dorm after a report that a girl had allegedly overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive.
Police found a small quantity of heroin at the scene and charged Ian Grant with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They then asked Oneida County Drug Enforcement Task Force to continue the investigation, who obtained a search warrant for the dorm.
Oneida County Drug Task Force found heroin and marijuana at the dorm as well as other 'drug paraphernalia'.
Stephanie, 19, was then arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. She was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Kirkland Court at a later date.
She was also taken to hospital but authorities expected her to be released yesterday.

A spokesperson for Hamilton College said, "In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy.
"The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students.
"Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters."
