Flamboyant X Factor finalist Rylan Clarkhas revealed his first purchase, should he win the talent show - a new front door for his unwell mother.
The Essex singer will spare no expense when it comes to splashing out on his mother, promising he will buy her a new front door with his talent show spoils.
Rylan is in the running to scoop a £1million record deal if he wins the show, and has spoken out on how he would spend the cash if he won the show.
"If I do win I have promised my mum a new front door. She wants one of those nice ones. I've said I'll deck the garden too," said Rylan in an interview with The Sun newspaper.
Mum Linda suffers from Crohn's disease and is said to have only made it to the X Factor studios once to see her son perform on the show's live finals. Rylan added that he would spend his winnings on more family and friends.

Rylan has some stiff competition if he hopes to win the show however, with leaked voting results showing that Christopher Maloney had initially been drawing double the votes of his X Factor rivals.
It was later revealed that his nearest competition is Jahmene Douglas, with surprisingly few votes said to be cast for early show favourite, Ella Henderson.
