X Factor finalist Rylan Clark has spoke out after show judge Gary Barlow this week branded the camp Essex singer as 'absolute sh*te' at a London gig this week.
The controversial contestant admits he is happy to engage with banter and bickering with Barlow on the ITV show, but feels let down by Barlow for taking their rivalry out of the show and made it a public feud.
"We’ve got this banter in the studio and in the studio that’s where it stays," he tells The Sun newspaper.
"So when I found out what he did at the gig it upset me because I thought, ‘You’ve taken this out of the show now’."
Earlier this week, Clark hit back at Barlow on Twitter - but later deleted the angry tweet he sent the Take That star.
"I'd rather be 'absolute s****' than just stand there and sing the same old stuff every week on the spot... #boreme @GBarlowOfficial," he tweeted on Thursday, 22 November.
The tweet posted by Rylan Clark this week - which was quickly deleted
Barlow's comments were made at a Mencap charity gig in London this week, when Barlow took the opportunity to vent over his disappointment at Clark's continued success on X Factor, remaining in the show when the likes of Ella Henderson have been eliminated.
Barlow addressed the audience saying: "I'm serious. What are we going to do about Rylan? I might have to be honest on Saturday night and go, 'Rylan, I thought that was absolute s**te'."
He then asked his fans what their thoughts were on Clark, and they apparently started booing and chanting, "Get him out!"
Barlow responded, "I'm glad you agree!"
