7 December, 2012: The Courteeners are back in a big way, with new album ANNA set for release on 4 February after single 'Lose Control' on 28 January.
But before the band get into their New Year plans, this weekend the four piece performed a huge show at Manchester's MEN Arena - to their most loyal and dedicated fans. During rehearsals for the show, we went backstage with the band to catch them sound checking for the show, chilling out backstage and perhaps most importantly - getting their hair cut.
We recently spoke to Liam Fray of the band about their Manchester following, and he revealed that having such a strong following was more important to the band than selling millions of albums. He also spoke of the importance of keeping small venues open and why Jake Bugg is 'so important' to young people.
